ye somebody who has played over 100 games for madrid (one of the best clubs in the world) and probably nearly 50caps for spain is a crap defender, ye that sounds right doesnt it

yes i was being sarcastic their, anyone who seriously says they wouldnt have ramos here need to get a grip of thier footballing brain.
He is not crap. Nobody here called him crap. He is not that great at defending. I would take zab over Ramos anytime. Sergio is great at going forward, last season he scored in almost every other game for Real Madrid, but you can't possible expect him to have enough stamina to charge backwards. That's why he is not that good at defending. He goes forward too much. Anyways he will never leave and i don't see why Hughes would want to replace Zab. Hughes wants to improve the squad, not replace it.

Cheers mate for backing up my point

He's just a rich mans' Garrido TBH. Good going forward but piss poor defensively.

As if. He's a great defender and class going forward. A real hot head though. He's been sent off 9 times in his career already
thanks for backing up my point mate :)

Really ? I don't know many 22 year old players that don't run into bad form. Agree he can be a bit erratic defending, But that is not to say he is not a superb player. I prefer this assessment of him...

It backs part of your point up. However, there is clearly many people who rate this kid very highly. 24th best player in 2008 and thats with taking into account his poor form too. not bad eh ? anyway, its all about opinion....

why are we all clutching at straws when we have the financial clout??? And please please please let's make sure we don't sign RSC and do make sure big fat sam is stuck with him.
