On Tuesday, the IFAB declared: "Contrary to some incorrect reports in the media related to the penalty kick procedure (Law 14), the ball will remain in play in the event of a penalty kick rebounding from the goalkeeper, crossbar or goalposts."

It looks like its not happening according to some on here, I haven't seen confirmation of that though.

It was never happenening so it won't get confirmed. Just like letting one attacker user his hand to punch the ball at a conrer isn't happening, funny no one has confimred it isn't happening. May still be true then eh?
 
You heard about that new rule they’re bringing in?.. they’re going to give a bottom half team when they’re away from goal a goal head start to begin the game!
