Serial Killer at large in Manchester?

We need to figure out the number of bodies that have now been discovered within the canal and look into the dates they were discovered.

Without going into detail pal,I have dealt with numerous people being found in the canal over the last 15 yrs as a police radio operator. It is very common indeed. Nowt sus, just drink and water don't go very well together.

Believe me. This is no serial killer.

For some un beknown reason. When people are steaming drunk they are attracted to the water.
That could well be true, given the drinking culture in England and the proximity of the canals to town

This is what I asked before. Where can I find this info without lengthy googling?

You guys over there pull more bodies out of your three foot deep canals than we do here in Chicago out of Lake Michigan and the Chicago River. And we have the mob and gangs still doing their work. There's something going on there. You've got someone with blood lust looking for an easy target. Walk the canal at night, see someone leaning over a railing puking or just stumbling along alone. Little push, little submersion. Bingo, "drowning death" and he gets his jollies off for the evening.

Every victim has had wrinkled skin when pulled out of the canal, A serial killers calling card?

I've been blind drunk and jumped in a swimming pool before. Swam about and then got out. Now canals may well be more difficult to get out of but I refuse to believe, even when drunk, you would fall in a canal and that's you dead. Why don't more people stumble in the road when they are drunk. Why not rivers? Too many are in the canal.

Anyone got the number of bodies?
Perhaps an email to the Manchester Evening News - sure if they'll be able to do a quick search of their database for related articles?

This is a funny thread but a serious one to.

Honestly...As Strangeways mentioned...So many canals in close proximity to town etc. There a fucking loads of people who go in each year, some are lucky, others not so!
