I was hoping to see Tomasso Baldanzi play for Empoli- lovely player- but he’s been called up for Italy’s U20 game versus Nigeria on Wednesday. Do wonder who schedules the dates for these tournaments.

Added to the Roma game there was the obligatory bench clearing incident. Happens a lot with Roma except it wasn't Jose or one of his staff that was red carded this time.

We might win the match in Istanbul, but when it comes to cajoling, complaining, and pressuring the referee, we’ll be made to look complete amateurs. Italian teams are peerless in that respect. I’m especially looking forward to the hands behind the back stance and look of innocence after Grealish has yet again been launched into orbit.
