Serie A Season 2014-15

Roma have completely and utterly fallen apart. They had a great start to the season but look awful pretty much every time I see them.

Is there any one reason why serie a stadiums seem so empty now a days? I know the standard of the league has slipped but besides the local derbies, most games I see look half full or less. Just curious if there is something people point to. Maybe it's always been like that and I never noticed?

I think it is all about: old stadiums, ultras violence, no more world class players, high prices tickets and pay per view.

By the way there is Fiorentina-Juventus now live (Italian cup, semifinal second leg).

I know Juventus today were without key players but just reading this the Parma players have performed well under immense pressure.

This was just the fifth league win for Parma, who were declared bankrupt last month with debts estimated at nearly 75m euros (£54m)..

Parma, who lost 7-0 to Juventus earlier in the season, are 10 points from safety in what has been a turbulent campaign.

Their players have not been paid all season, have had to do their own laundry, drive the team bus and go without hot water at the club.

I go to Seria A games yearly..stadiums aren't really the issue. Believe it or not San Siro is probably the worst out of the Seria A clubs. High ticket prices and having 12 Sky football channels in Italy don't help. All the fans sit behind the goals anyway which you don't see on TV, they're about a quarter of the price. Some weeks not even Juve can sell out a 45,000 seat stadium. Bit sad.
