Serie A Thread - 2023/24

Smile on my face seeing Roma getting spanked. Condolences to any Roma fans here.
I don’t mind Roma, just not partial to Mourinho’s version. Third season disintegration appears to be the norm for him, so the current bad run may continue a while yet. They host unbeaten Frosinone on Sunday.

Just an update on Sere B, where Palermo of the CFG are now up to second spot, four points behind Parma. They might run out of steam later in the season but things appear to be going well for now at least. It’s looking less positive for Sampdoria, however, who are languishing in 17th spot with a disappointing 3 points from 7 games. Pirlo certainly has his work cut out there.

I’m with you there. Don’t dislike Roma but when I do say Roma, it’s moaninho’s version I mean

Gab, imagine Samp even falling further from grace. Well, I do hope things work out for him

They've never sunk that far, though they've had some stretches in Serie B. If they're going to follow Genoa's lead and get back in one season, then they're going to have to put a serious run of wins together. The Derby della Lanterna is one of the great spectacles of Italian football, so I hope for the city they get back up soon.

Koopmeiners with a chance to take all the points against Juve, o for someone who can volley. As usual taking the second touch allowed the defenders to get back. The resulting strike was poor anyway. It ends 0-0.

They had a fair few half chances to win it in the last 15 mins. Still, nice to see Juve not winning.

The evening game sees Roma v Frosinone. Roma currently have a paltry 5 points from their 6 games so far. Should be an interesting game esp as it comes after Roma's 4-1 defeat at Genoa.

Another 0-0 last night as Torino drew a blank with Verona. By my reckoning, that's the eighth 0-0 this season already, whereas there have only been two in the Premier League.

Fiorentina one of three teams in joint third spot, all on 14 points, but it's hard to see it being anything other than a slug out between the Milanese this year.

Watched most of the games last weekend. Inter seem the most consistent. It’s also been evident something clicked even during the UCL final.

Lazio also doing a Lazio is no surprisez
