Serious assault on an elderly Blue

Yes, true, I am using language in that way, but with good intentions. To be clear, I am embarrassed by some of our supporters, whether it's giving opposing fans the finger and shouting abuse or the more extreme stuff, but it's a minority, and all clubs of note have that element, not just Leeds United. It does not reflect on the club or the majority of us, but I do accept that we are a bit like Liverpool in that our 'embarrassing element' is larger and more vocal than others, hence my use of the word 'rambunctious'.

I would say to you, though - and I mean no disrespect here - if you look through this thread, you will see Man City supporters posting reactions that suggest violent ideations and gives the sort of antediluvian impression of your club that is at odds with the chloroformed image you would like to project.
I respect most of your posts, but, whilst that's an impressive use of vocabulary, the final sentence isn't accurate. I don't think folk on here want to portray a choloformed image of our club at all. Sky certainly have that wish for football in general, and they laud frequently the support of the red shirts and Leeds - they always have. That's a reason why we often sing, "We are not, we're not really here." This is despite the violence and offensive chants they themselves frequently aim at each other.

Any blue on here will agree that we have dickhead blues who are an embarrassment, but, we don't have a nasty or violent reputation. Leeds do; how justifiable that is, honestly, I don't know. But, the O.P. seems to be evidence that it is justified, so, we'll watch the media over the next few days and see what emerges.

As to any threat posted by an anonymous internet warrior on here, it's probably shared by many right-minded folk, who like to fight fire with fire - but, they would probably run a mile rather than breaking their knuckles with the first punch they've ever thrown in their lives. So, I don't think it's realistic for you to rely on hollow threats posted on an internet forum to support your apparent defence of your travelling support in particular, i.e. We're the pot calling the kettle 'black.'

Big group of the fuckers walked round from the met stop at City Square to the away end getting in blues faces, giving shit to anyone that looked at them and generally just offering anyone out….worst one was an old bloke in his late 50s (being kind) literally stopping blues as they walked past to abuse them and try and start a scrap.

Embarrassing fucker had two hooped earrings in 1 ear too, proper 80’s throwback.

Hope the sheep shaggers go down.

Unconscious in the boot of an Austin Allegro with plastic ties around our wrists?
