sack him now have you seen his signings kompany, swp, robinho. zab. he aint got a clue has he ;-(

A manager doesn't keep his job on the back of the players he's signed and how about all those players he's f**ked off with his attitude

dunne, richards, elano,jo, ball, hamman and ben haim
my point is the decent players this season are his signings. how do you know he fucked them players off anyway ? and no one says what a good job he has done with superman

im for hughes and still am but if players the calibre the sheiks want wont come to city because of hughes what do u do ...............someone say ........does hughes have to go or do we stick with hughes till they respect him enough ......remember im with hughes i reckon he will come good but its not my money

He took a team that finished 9th (despite a terrible run in which was probably due at least in part to circumstances out of any of the players' control) and has them I think it's 16 points worse off this year than last. Sold Corluka, probably a bit unlucky, but has spent roughly 30 million himself, but had around 70 million worht spent on players i his squad. The team has added the second leading goalscorer to a defense that was very good last year.

I mean just focus on that, if we'd been told last year that next year we'll have the second top goal scorer at the halfway point we would have thought we'd be top 6 easily with our defense.

Look at how many players have gone backward, and how many players have no desire to play for him. There are just too many to blame it on a few "rotten apples."

He's not a bad manager, just the wrong one for this team, and I've been saying it to anyone who will listen for about three months now (I'll admit I was a bit premature, or maybe prophetic?).

no top european player is coming to city if jo is reporting back hes playing CHED EVANS over me ha ha ha ha ha ha ha im all hughes but that aint happening in europe . Tell that to david villa and kaka .....Listen mate u play shit and ill bring on ched evans and casino pissed up michael johnson ..........by the way he had a oner on 32 black

My point is how that we had perfectly good players in the first place who he's made worse. Good management is about getting the best out of people and utilsing your resources appropriatly. Not bringing in a whole new team and sacking everyone you hadn't brought in especially when they had a respectable finish last year.

As the saying goes is it ain't broken don't fix it??

no, stick with hughes! it will come good lol! stop sacking managers and buy some players!

and we keep buying players until we get it right thats really gonna give us a settled site gavanised to climb the table

ive been pro hughes and still am in away but hes known for buying players on the cheap and getting his best out of them so why now does he have to pay over inflated prices for shit players to secure our staus in premiership . Reason hes panicking and that aint a good sign for a manager if hes crumblin at the first stage

But it WAS broke. It's been broken for years!

But now it can't be done like that. It has to be with quality signings, balance and grit and application.

There have been many teams that have been successful where it isn't necessarily the superstar signings that make the difference. I remember Carragher in the Chumps Final....that bloke was immense.

Hughes is an absolute dog shit manager. Questionable tactics, inability to rectify mistakes that happen week in, week out i.e. poor organisation, inability to create a team that is able to hold out for the positive result e.g. Liverpool especially! Oh and out of 20 games he has lost 50% of them (10), won 36% of them (6) and drew 14% of them (4) - percentages open to debate, ability as a manager not so!

With Wales and Blackburn he overachieved, he is not doing in this job and it is too big a challenge for him.
