I only said trying to break through. It is a damn struggle for the poor old currant bun to shine on a grey damp Manchester day at the end of December.
But I have just returned home from Asda Eastlands and it is definitely no longer raining cats and dogs at The Etihad.

Although if i had got up earlier I would have made the match .
I got to the out skirts of Oldham at 10 to 4 and turned back to West Yorkshire . Anyway i hope blues in Rochdale , Bury and other parts of the country are ok .

Well that was an interesting trip after I started this thread, flooding like I have never seen on the A1 M62 closed where I come off at junction 18 so came off at 22 the roads were like a river coming off Saddleworth Moor only to find the road flooded so ended up in Oldham. The trip back wasn't much better as now the town is flooded in parts. Worth it for the win but a 10 hour trip from Yorkshire to Manchester and back :(
