Sevilla (A) | Post Match Thread

Interesting. I thought he was right up there with our best performers in the first half.
Which one was it, I'm reading complete opposites where his performance is being described, hard to tell on the radio.

I bet Pep always planned to give him an hour tonight though.

Agreed.

He probably did, but direct ? he passed it backwards most times, and rarely drove at their defence.

Phil made himself more dangerous, but Phil is great on both sides, and his workrate is far better than Jack's, so that was nothing to do with Grealish imho.

I've no problem with Grealish as a player, when he's good he's good, but tonight wasn't one of those nights, hence Pep pulled him off after 62 minutes, clearly he wasn't happy, and nor was Pep, hence the debrief which the camera's showed, and then the obvious "sulk", so it wasn't so he can start on Saturday v Spurs, (happy to be quoted on Saturday if wrong).
Phil’s been shite on the left this season.

Grealish will be important in the toughest games we play. Keeping the ball is paramount.

About 13 days notice to organise a trip abroad, I doff my cap to those that went. Going to Dortmund which could be a dead rubber but we had the luxury of booking 8 weeks in advance.
Same here. I usually choose 1 away in the group stages. I wanted Seville but impossible with work due to the short notice.. so Dortmund it is
