Maroon a colour we have used many times over the years, looked simply superb. Why did we play with red shorts?

Pretty much like Aguero needed to adjust. Most pundits didn't think Sergio could fit Pep's style but he proved everyone wrong. The rest of Europe must be worried about when Haaland fits into our style of play lolI think he was more alluding to as soon as we got possession, we kept playing long balls or attempted Hollywood passes in to Haaland.
What I got was Pep wanted us to retain possession & build up our attacks with passes until a clear opportunity presented itself to pass to Haaland.
It's early days. Haaland offers little during our build up play unlike Mbappé/Kane etc, but he's more lethal in the box. Personally I think we'll have to meet Haaland half way. He'll have to adjust to how we play & we'll have adjust to him. We'll get there in the end.
Not even subtle, Rag boyWhy did we play with red shorts?
Red shorts are only worn in the Europa league not the Champions leagueWhy did we play with red shorts?
Cup Final in the 1930s, before my time. 1956 Cup Final maroon shirts with white stripes, best kit of all.Maroon a colour we have used many times over the years, looked simply superb.
Haaland is just a tap in merchant.i can't tell if Haaland just makes the defenders look like they're not trying properly because of how fast/strong he is or that defenders just don't have a fucking clue how to deal with him.
Both goals no one even bothered trying to track him properly.
HIs Second by the way was brilliant play by gundog, he made their player come with him keeping haaland onside for the rebound. Very smart!
I have the 1956 shirt, a prized possession.Cup Final in the 1930s, before my time. 1956 Cup Final maroon shirts with white stripes, best kit of all.
Well we do play tippy tappy football so it’s hardly surprising what the end product is :-)Haaland is just a tap in merchant.
