Tough week. Liga teams seem to always represent themselves well irrespective of their table position. I still expect some of the younger lads like Gomez, Palmer to feature Tuesday. I’d really like to see Phillips as well if he’s fit enough.

No Walker, no Stones, surely we have to play Cancelo on the right. Got my fingers crossed for Gomez on the left.

This, unfortunately Gomez will have similar role to Zinchenko more being a substitute than starter in most games. If Cucurella coming in instead Gomez, he will get more start as LB for sure.

The price of being not the main target LB and originally as CFG player.

Experienced at centre-back but has played at right-back a third as many times as Stones, and left-back literally 3 times.

Not saying Pep won't do it.

We've got a choice between two risks -

Play an experienced player in a position he's rarely played, on his debut.

Play a young player who has a little experience with the team, in his primary position.

Personally I prefer the second option. I do get why some may prefer the first.
