We weren’t on absolute top form but a few players made a difference.

I voted Rico just because it was an astonishingly assured performance topped with a goal. The lad was everywhere, always wanting the ball, making space, clever movement.

But I felt Bernardo coming on was what changed the game. The tempo immediately increased, more urgency, more direct. And then again, Alvarez got two great assists and a brilliantly taken goal. And KDB might deserve it for that pass alone!

In the end I chose Bernie. Just gotta love that guy, he gives his all and never falters.

But it was still a difficult decision! Come back John Boy! ;-)

Alvarez for me. Never stopped running and trying even before his goal, the assist for Lewis was also partly down to his work rate.

Fair shout for Rico, was fantastic throughout. Looked really mature for a 17yo.
