The perception that we were ‘poor’ is a tad harsh, them scoring makes it seem that way. We controlled the vast majority of the match and fair fucks to Sevilla, they worked their tails off.

I liked that we kept plugging away, and definitely got better as the match went on. 15/20 minute spell that was relentless and good for the confidence of the new and young players

Promising start for Josko, he showed more than enough of a glimpse of what he going to bring to the team.

Kovacic is a really clever player, great night for Cole and Eddie.

Whilst I wanted to win it I really want a result against the toon. Hopefully we get rested up and be ready to go again. Going to be very tough.

Agree with every word, we have loved Athens, this was the cherry on the cake, the atmosphere was superb, even though at times I felt like fainting it was so hot, I wondered what the atmosphere would be like but I think it was when Harland and a few others came out for the warm it really took off,a great City, a great result, a great trip, finish it off with a visit to the Parthenon and acropolis museum tomorrow and a meal in a stunning Plaka restaurant then back home on Friday for the match Saturday night, if Carling did weeks!

We've been here since last Thurs, only booked flights back today. We fly to Corfu tomorrow at midnight for £30, then a 4pm flight to Manchester which we found for £80 so we're happy with that. We haven't booked accommodation in Corfu so we plan to stay in a bar that's open til 5. Then prob sleep on a bench or summat..
 
Not our best performance by a long way and Seville made it hard for us, the heat and humidity was zapping. Cole Palmer was awesome. I hope he doesn't get less games when we buy again. This lad needs a chance to shine.

Another trophy !!!! Congratulations to Pep and the boys.

Did we tho? Credit to them on their goal. 2 breaks off a couple of misjudgments by Kyle in the 2nd half hardly qualifies as getting ripped open time after time...don't be an a hole...
