I know this will be met with ridicule, but for me it is The Usual Suspects.Tried to watch it many times but never managed to get past the first half hour.Bores me to tears.I know many class it as a classic, but I just dont see it.
Spot on. Withnail and I is another one that ticks the same boxes. It's the done thing to like it but, in reality, it isn't a very good film. Maybe not shit, but very ordinary.

No your right,I forgot about whitnail and I,an absolute **** of a film, you can just imagine Barry Norman getting so excited about how great this film was that he spunks his keks.

All these films cost me hours I'll never get back:

Wall-e -what a fucking big bag of Wank

Little Fockers - Was I just watching a hash up of the other 2?

Any Matrix film- tried to watch the 1st one on a 9hr flight but jesus Christ I couldn't even get 10 mins in without switching off

Indiana jones 4 - dreadful

Big mommas house - I hope Martin lawrence burns in hades

Tropic thunder - gash

Any Seth rogan film - unfunny fat ****

i robot. can't fucking bear will smith at the best of times but me and the missus were on a "taking turns" sort of things with films. we got it on a copy off a mate. nearly two hours i sat through that wank and then the disc cut off before the end. taught me a valuable lesson never to watch will smith again. (apart from the pursuit of happyness - that's class)

Peters Friends.

A complete waste of time, money, brain cells, whatever.

Utter crap.

The problem is that some films are really good, but they're built up too much so your expectations are just unrealistic.
The Shawshank Redemption and Pulp Fiction are guilty of this

"The Happening", shockingly terrible.

This. If I'd been to The Cornerhouse to watch a 4 hour contemporary piece about a Latvian mime artist sticking cocktail sticks in one of his own turds, I would still rate The Happening as the worst film I've ever seen.

The happening and Burn after reading are tied for me for the most terrible big budget films ever.

The happening because nothing bloody well happens, the wind blows the branches of a tree and they run of screaming WTF.

Burn after reading because it made no sense at all. I know it was done deliberatly by the ending with the CIA guy not knowing wtf was going on. That was just like rubbing salt in the wounds for me though.
