Having read quite a few of these posts I can't recollect anybody suggesting that the draw would suit both teams (aside from the money). Weve won the group so Shakhtar only need a point to qualify and we maintain our unbeaten run, no mad tackles required no busting a gut by either team. Job done, sorted, come home and kick shit out of manure!

I’ve gone 2-2 for the exact same reason, but, to be honest, I wouldn’t lose any sleep if we were beaten on Wednesday.

I’d rather Shakhtar end our current unbeaten run, in a nothing game, than for to happen against the scum.... The pro rag media would be having multiple orgasms aplenty for months afterwards, and we’d never hear the end of it.

To be honest, I do fear the worst as far as Sunday is concerned. There’s no doubt in my mind that we’ll be playing against the usual 14 men, at the swamp, and will have to endure plenty of sh*tty (pro rag) decisions as a result.

Even at this early stage of the proceedings there’s no way the premier league or sky will risk us going 11 points clear of what look like being our only “semi” serious title challengers.

Kompany and Otamendi: Otamendi coz we need our best defender fresh and Kompany coz he is our best Ariel defender and he can't handle 2 games

Delph: Can't handle 2 games.

Sterling and Jesus: Both should be fresh to start at the weekend

Why should we bother Sane and Walker for a dead rubber game? We need their legs not just for weekend but for the rest of this hectic festive season and indeed the rest of this campaign. Every opportunity to have their legs do less should be embraced and not taken for granted. I think Napoli going out of the CL might just be a blessing in disguise for them. They can always come back next year and give a good account of themselves. Juve and Inter and indeed Roma are very much up for the Scudetto challenge.

I wouldn't say not bothered about the result, as I want us to win every game we play. I think people are being realistic though with their predictions.

Pep will do his own thing as always and probably surprise us. Personally I would not have one player on that pitch who will play Sunday. It is time for the fringe players to step up and prove their worth, something they haven't really done yet when given the opportunity.

Agree on Sane, but we’ve no choice other than to płay Walker, and switch Danilo to LB.

As others on here have already stated, given his recent injury record, to ask Fabs to play 3 games in 7 days, particularly in a dead rubber, is a gamble we just can’t afford
