I haven't seen Fernandinho in many predicted squads (including mine, come to think of it). He rested the vast majority of the weekend game and has experience playing in Ukraine. Maybe he could fill in a full back role, as he did occasionally last season?

Agree on Sane, but we’ve no choice other than to płay Walker, and switch Danilo to LB.

As others on here have already stated, given his recent injury record, to ask Fabs to play 3 games in 7 days, particularly in a dead rubber, is a gamble we just can’t afford

We don`t have many good fullbacks in the academy

no no no we only have him in that position,he must be wrapped in cotton wool whenever possible

We can do so many things. We can use a wing backs system, we can use Duhaney, etc, etc. I may be wrong but I honestly think we have to be brutally pragmatic about this. The chance to rest players doesn't come too often and as we approach the latter stages of the CL and Carabao Cup, the opportunity may never come again. Any reason why we have to play Walker or Fab?

He is one of the most important player we have and one of the best too. Dino doesnt get the accoldes he deserves but he is one of the best in the world in his poition imo.

Ppl rave abt likes of matic n kante who are good players indeed but Job of holding midfielder is more difdicult than any other club in the legue because no one commits as many players forward like we do and he does that exceptionally well week in week out.
