I have no problem with a Fern / Eric Garcia dup for a game in Shakhtar. Nico was awful at the weekend so I don't so I don't really see what we gain?

Him getting his confidence back maybe?

cancelo has to play eventually, it should have been tonight if he wasn’t throwing Garcia in at the deep end. He’s gone very safe when tonight’s the one game this week where you can take a bit of a gamble as no matter the result it’s still very recoverable.

Gundogan shouldn’t be getting a game when Rodri is playing, it makes our midfield very immobile. Kevs going to be puffing after 60 minutes with the running he’ll have to do.

No issue with mahrez and Jesus starting, Sergio can’t play every game and Bernardo hasn’t started the season well enough to make him unstoppable like last season.

But Pep's an idiot. He should know by now that every single less than perfect performance in his entire tenure has been Gundogan's fault alone. Even when he played well, or didn't play, it was still his fault.
