Shay. Best in the Prem?

I think he's the best.

he doesn't have the height of Cech and Van Der Saar, but I'd make him No. 1 based on his all round ability as a Keeper and his reliability

Cech was the undisputed No. 1, but he seems to have become a little vulnerable over the last year
 
Difficult to say as a lot of what a keeper does such as organising defenses is not seen by fans especially on tele which is how I see most non City keepers. For me though Reina has great ability and phenomenal distribution and edges it. Love Shay though.

I can't see the results but Given was winning by a mile when I last saw it & Foster hadn't got a single vote. However the highlight comes in the comments section, from a rag called Dan. Could it be our old friend DannyCR7? He's certainly stupid enough.

I sid this a couple of weeks ago, that on current form Shay is head and shoulders above any other keeper in the league. you only have to look at the games against Wolves,Blackburn,Palace and even Barca where he made some vital saves to keep us in front. He isn't known as a keeper prone to calamitous errors that cost games, he keeps things simple, is pretty decent with his distribution and my own opinion is that having a keeper like Shay behind you gives the back 4 great confidence. A top class keeper can be the difference between top 6 and top 4 to us this season, and I believe that we have that keeper in Shay Given.

Agreed, superb shot stopper but other aspects of his game leave a lot to be desired, still extremely happy he's at our club though
 
Even a staunch rag admitted to me today that Given's the best in the league and Foster's an overrated bag of wank
