I'm in two minds. Would love to see Newcastle go down - even more so if Big Sam was still in charge - 'cos it will be well funny seeing their "army" of fans so gutted.

But that said, Hull are a bit of a shit club and you just can't get excited about playing them in the premiership - give me a fixture against the bar codes over Hull any day + that Phil Brown is a bit of a knob too. I would like to see Borough escape 'cos I like Gareth Southgate but can't see it happening.

The way I see it, Newcastle might, just might, turn it around for next season. Whereas Hull will go down next season, so it might be the last chance for the Geordies to go down.

Plus it would be even funnier with Shearer in charge.

Shit, i just remembered i won't be able to get my free corporate tickets from our MD who is a barcodes fan if they go down...NEWCASTLE TO STAY UP!!!!!!!!!!

Newcastle have been punching above their weight for a long time. They are, always were, and always will be a 2nd rate football club with fair weather supporters. I too hope they crash and burn.

So do i, This is the best chance in a long time of relegating Newcastle. Just a shame that we cannot see it happen live.

I hope they go down just because it looks to me like Shearer was on an ego trip. I think he thought they would not end up in this position and he could waltz in an and out and act the hero. Unlucky mate.

I dont get this hatred on newcastle people saying they arent a real big club and deserve to go down personally i have never had any trouble with newcastle fans playing them is one of the bigger games of the season they ave a healthy away following, the game is so much more than against hull, wigan, fulham, they have a manager who i think everyone has respect for on the game and we call there fans dilusional but are they anymore than the city fans who were on ssn with teatowels on thier heads or getting tatoos of kaka?
