I just witnessed the sort of game we would have given away a few years ago, we should have been 4 up by half-time, but the reaction to the equaliser shows how we can react. Phil was the game changer, should have been on 15 minutes earlier. I won’t criticise Haaland, Alvarez or Rodri, but on another day they could all have scored 3

Also to add, Grealish today had the ball 1 v 1 against the Sheffield full back and I was just screaming for him to go fast and direct past him. But he takes too long, yes it worked for the Haaland goal but I would just love him to go at him fast and direct and see what would happen. Don’t let defensive teams set!

Shocking ugly display. Misplaced passed. Awful finishing. Gave the 10 man defence hope right until the end. For me Foden before Grealish every time. Haaland needs more service and I reckon Doku will be the man for that. Always a few matches. Very fortunate 3 points.
