Rumours that the "match-day forum" has been renamed "the knee-jerk forum", though well-deserved, is unlikely to be true due to the FIVE trophies that somehow ended up in our already over-flowing trophy cabinet. Everyone is entitled to their opinion ( which no-one has ever denied !!) and when our failings (?) are blamed on the manager's performance and certain individual players, an "agenda" by the poster is loud and clear. Our play is too slow is often repeated, we are not clinical, is another. On the rare occasions a clear chance is missed, then that is "football", with all that goes with it. Can't be arsed....in a Pep team ???. Not just City forums, but when someone cites "the money they are on", then it's pointless reading on. Just my opinion of course, gained over watching City playing football we could not have dreamed of prior to the take-over, reaching levels under Pep that are the envy of fans on a global scale. Blips are ineviable, the Villa game being an example when regardless of result, we were actually second-best...subsequent results have proved it a "blip" and not proof of a total collapse. TFFT.....

Rodri will get a rest after today , won’t play again until the thirteenth at Newcastle

He’s got the next 2 weeks off, resting him today would be a shocker. So important we win today and go into the FA cup where we can rest players and then get everyone rested for Newcastle.
