Three defenders and three midfielders on the bench. Not much good if we are chasing a goal. ( god forbid)
LolNo inside info but nowhere has Pep stated Foden has an injury , unless you know better , show me the link, as for wasting him against Sheff Utd , we are in the bottom half of a league we are hoping to win , and yet we just need to win two games from our last four qualifiers to progress in the Champs league
Playing Foden against Olympiakos will be the waste , Einstein.
Did you watch the WHU game?Strong team.
Don’t understand the hysteria over Foden not starting. Foden started midweek and Mahrez was on the bench. Now it’s the opposite.
Foden will start again midweek in the CL which is also a very important game. Another win means 9 points and a major step closer to qualification.
On that basis none of us can have an opinion then. Not a footballer or a manager eitherIf you are a qualified sports scientist I would value you opinion, other than that you don’t have a clue about how elite athletes have to be managed
But what has he done to warrant the start? And what more does Foden have to do?Watch him have a stormer today!
Injury means dropped. Rested means starting from the bench. Foden will be subbed on at some point. No inside info but nowhere has Pep stated Foden has an injury , unless you know better , show me the link, as for wasting him against Sheff Utd , we are in the bottom half of a league we are hoping to win , and yet we just need to win two games from our last four qualifiers to progress in the Champs league

Even if Delap was on the bench Pep wouldn't bring him on.Three defenders and three midfielders on the bench. Not much good if we are chasing a goal. ( god forbid)
Well Pep obviously thinks the team he's picked and the team he has in mind for Greece can win both games, different players will play in both games. He knows his squad and fitness of players so we'll see if he's right. My guess is probably.Big difference here. We are under pressure in PL already, we simply have to win. No pressure in CL at the moment.
