He was in the best form of his City career and one of the best players in the team across all those games we were struggling in the first part of the season.

around November time we were wondering if Cancelo wouldn’t get in the team at right back until Walker retires.

Walker is a quality player.

Scored against these last time out.
 
Think NOT rotating our players is a real dumb way to see players burn out and get injured in this heavily congested season, especially with the level of depth in the squad, we've basically been able to rotate without any real drop off of quality.

We've already seen it with kev, there is still a long way to go this season, no need to risk players picking up potential injures when we have this depth of quality in the team.

My guess is you have never seen a football game live and have very little knowledge and what you do know about the game you have gleaned from the telly, you comments are simply ridiculous , Laporte is one of th e best defenders in europe and would walk into any team.

It’s a strong team but I do worry about our creativity against parked buses without Cancelo in the side.

I’m surprised to see the Dias/Stones partnership broken up. Laporte is a class act but those two have been fantastic for some time now.
 
Rotation is not only good for resting players but it gives the players coming in a chance to stake a claim, Walker know he has to up his game to compete with Cancelo, Laporte knows he needs to be as good as stones. As for Ferny he is always up for the battle.
