Sheffield Wednesday

I'm not sure he is, If we lost £24m we'd be breaching FFP rules again, our last set of accounts (21/22) showed we lost £7.5m

This could be Chancer saying what he has had to put in over the course of his tenure who knows.

It's going to get messy regardless
What the hell were the owners thinking when they sacked Darren Moore (though the official version was that they parted by mutual consent)? I was speaking to an Owls fan some months ago who suggested something had gone on behind the scenes but couldn't elaborate.

He's doing ok, still Jack of all trades master of none, not sure RWB is for him in this system, but he's a fans favourite as at least he's a trier and seems to care.

He released some videos over the close season of him fishing in the River Don next to the stadium :)
Feel your pain, always a club I've looked out for.

Bad result tonight won't help, but that to another team I have a soft spot for.

As you guys know you don't pick your team, your team picks you!!!

123 days after the ultimate end to the season, things couldn't b any worse, but as football fans there's always tomorrow when things might be better.

The Chansiri's of this world will come and go, but for us the custondians of our clubs come what may we'll always be there.

Have a good weekend all, life's too short :)

I don't know much about your owner, I didn't know much about our previous, (or this one, before he took us over), but as a club, you must have a chance of getting someone good eventually, I genuinely wish you good luck.

Quick question: The Fit and Proper Person Test has been mentioned a couple of times but what does it involve?
Is it a simple case of checking for criminal behaviour or does it check the intended owner's capability in the role?
For example could I buy a club if I won the lottery just because I've no criminal convictions or would I also have to demonstrate a significant level of business acumen?
I'm talking about standard procedure as I believe someone with a dodgy past was allowed to own Bury as the alternative was them going bust. - In the end they went bust anyway.

Owlerton has gone to the dogs, and both main Sheffield clubs promoted beyond their ability.

I remember in 1993 when some Wednesday fans thought they were on for the treble around Feb when Warhurst was bang in form.
