Sheffield Wednesday

Got in laws on your side, cracking bunch.

Wedding/Holiday last June, all expected to go back down, club in disarray etc, completely got it.

Over the moon you've turned it round. If you can keep the gaffer and your owner doesn't go mental again, it looks like you've got something to really build on.
Thanks m8, unfortunately "IF" is doing a lot of lifting in that sentence :)
Fantastic turnaround that mate. Feared the worst for you earlier in the season as it didn’t seem a happy place at all. Moore going clearly was a factor in that when last season’s promotion helped by that miracle comeback against Peterborough ought to have given you confidence for the new campaign. However, those stats you’ve posted are nothing short of incredible. I’d be interested to see the form of all clubs in that division since December - surely Wednesday’s was top six.
This is from matchday 19 which was 2nd December to the end of the season.

Thanks all, been another roller coaster of a season.

Still can't believe we've managed to turn it around.

Out of 46 league games we were in the relegation zone for 43.

On 1st December we were 21 points behind Blackburn, 15 behind Birmingham, 12 behind Plymouth/Huddersfield & even 5 behind Rotherham.
Incredible turn around, really pleased for you . Always look out for Wednesday's results always had a soft spot for them

Glad Wednesday stayed up. Along with West Ham, Sunderland and Alloa(I just liked their name) I've always had a soft spot for them. I'm glad Brum dropped, never liked them tbh and like their Villa neighbours, a fickle support.
Funny you should mention Alloa . Don't know if you go near the blue car park but there are a quite a few coaches from Alloa that come down to the game.(Hamilton and Airdrie.seem to the other places).

I used to sit next a lad from Alloa who couldn't believe they were my Scottish club. I just remember looking for their results on the vidprinter because they had a funny name.He did say there was a good few from the area who came every home game.

Some of us (no names, *cough*) had faith in your ability to get yourselves out of the shit you were in.

How's the hangover?
Not bad m8, went for a long walk this morning :)
The trick will be, holding on to him. I'm sure what he's done there hasn't gone unnoticed in other Championship boardrooms.
This is our big problem now, personally I think he'll move on in the summer.

A combination of someone higher up the food chain looking to take him and/or Chancer bring his sledgehammer to the party.

Lets be honest Chancer got lucky with Rohl after the car crash of Munoz, in his man-child brain he'll think he can go out and recruit similar again.

Unfortunately doesn't work like that.

If he simply goes then its clear proof that your owner is indeed a complete moron ............he gets an half decent budget next season then a push for the top 6 is deffo on and if he cannot see that then i would give up on him.
