I can't be 100% sure it happened but a player told a friend it happened. They were told after the game that he had been there. He didn't meet them or anything.

i know it has been asked before, but when, or if, will we ever get to meet and thank the guy?
Probably due to security issues, if he was ever to come to COMs it would be hush hush, but i can imagine the absolute furore if was to happen.
At the minute he is like some fairy godfather who lives in a land far far away. The fact he has'nt been yet kind of reinforces others' arguments that he doesnt give a fuck or even really know MCFC and it is just another Arab investment. People (rags generally) say that because he aint been he doesnt care so when he sells us on we will be fucked blah blah blah.
I just wish he would come and see for himself exactly what impact he has had, get to know MCFC and truly become a blue.

im sure he gets the games beamed out to abu dhabi. not to bothered about when he turns up to be honest i mean look at the glaziers they have been at the swamp a fair few times and we all know they don't giving a flying fook about them probably only there to check down the backs of the seetee's for any more cash they can get out of the club

i remember last season that there were loads of men in black suits in the directors box/area. there was 1 at each corner of each of the blocks in the second tier. i pointed it out to my mate and said the sheik must be here. never noticed them before or since, unfortunatly i cant remember which game it was.

It was the Chelsea and Arsenal games just before Hughes was sacked.

It also tied in with Mancini's comments that he "had met the Sheikh in London" when he took over.

You may well find that was the chairmen. I was walking to the ground and there were loads of Black Mercs being escorted by the Police and security services. And it was the chairmen only. Well unless the sheik was in the boot

The sheikh is a mythical character, much like the Griffin. We were taken over by aliens shortly after they started messing about with that Large Hydron Collider at CERN. Bloody Swiss, they've got a lot to answer for. They've ruined football for me. I'll still be renewing my season ticket in the second tier of area 51 though.
