The sheikh is a mythical character, much like the Griffin. We were taken over by aliens shortly after they started messing about with that Large Hydron Collider at CERN. Bloody Swiss, they've got a lot to answer for. They've ruined football for me. I'll still be renewing my season ticket in the second tier of area 51 though.

I must have slipped into a time vortex whilst all this was happening ...iv`e been wondering what all this talk of world class players signing for us was about on here ..it all makes sense now .. i am stuck in a typical city time warp and am looking forward to the first home game against Grimsby with our new signing Kevin Phillips up front...you lucky bastards ..COME ON CITY

I´m fairly sure that some paper or fan would have picked up that Sheikh Mansour was in town if he paid us a visit..Him being a member of a government as well it´s not like he can travel as he likes every time.

I've been told he has been already. Last season I believe. I can't remember the game, but that's what the players were told.

Dave he was scheduled to come for the Chelsea game but it was cancelled at the last minute.

I am pretty sure we will see a visit this season sometime ;)

He should just turn up in a pair of jeans and a hoody. Sit with the minnions and enjoy it. Nobody would think twice about it if he sat next to them.

i just returned from holiday with my family, we met another family based in Dubai, working for emirates, funny enough the guy used to work with my uncle at another air firm.

He was talking about our sheik and his business ability and the enormity of the wealth ( deeply impressive and a bit obscene...)

He said the Abu Dhabi lot have their own fleet of several different planes ( i can't remember details), and fly two at a time for extra safety.

He said the sheik has travelled to Manchester on many occasions and has a plane for that simple purpose. I can imagine he wouldn't be recognised by many, a fairly innocuous character walking within a group.
