Good news if this goes through. If they are allowed to invest sufficiently they should be winning trophies in a few years. Apparently they asked him to show proof of funds and he never did, if he’s not bluffing and he’s got 2 billion burning a hole in his back pocket and he’s buying the club for £350 million the Geordies need to get their tea towels on their heads and party like it’s 2008.
