It was a clean tackle. Fact not one player appealed for a foul tells you a lot. They appeal for EVERYTHING these days but there wasn't one raised arm from a Newcastle player. Just an unfortunate accident. All comments about it being an 'unnecessary' challenge are ridiculous, Arfa was in possession close to our penalty area. He needed stopping and NDJ did the job.
