Shocking Guardian article on De Jong/Ben Arfa

I cosider PB as one of the more measured contributors on here and mostly concur with his views, however I honestly can't see much wrong with the article by DT.I would imagine that most neutral readers of the article would not detect any bias.hidden or otherwise in the piece.

Get down from your self made pedastal PB.

Post my historic posts ! LOL - you sad little man.

I post a differing opinion than you and I am a rag ? Listen to yourself.
You can run but you can't hide.

I'll see you before the game on Saturday and we can discuss in person ?
Not going to Swansea then?

never a foul, let alone anything malicious, end of. Haven't a clue why this shit is being dragged up again. No paranoia, just usual witch hunt bollocks (as with Kompany as well) that wouldn't be applied to certain other teams

Divide the article up into bullet points and you would find it difficult to argue with any of them. However, take the article as a whole and factor in the timing and the fact that it was written for maximum mischevious and controversial effect and you may see why some posters take issue.

The description of the tackle as 'horror tackle' implies or states that in Taylor's opinion the tackle was maybe reckless or late etc.
Thats just wrong.
You can watch it over and over again but it was almost a textbook tackle. The type that Peter Reid would make in his heyday.
It was a 'good, hard ballwinning tackle' with very unfotunate horror consequences for Ben Arfa.
Just my opinion

I'll take that as a no then !

Truth be told PB I have read nothing into the article. The build up to this fixture was always going to reference the Arfa incident as this was a flashpoint in a shocking game.

My opinion is that is was a poor tackle. If this challenge was made on a city player or me when I played I would not have been pleased. You think this was a fair tackle; fair enough.

As for trawling my posts and calling me a rag - Why ? I can only attribure this to the fact that I have disagreed with you.
