They are murdering criminals who should be locked up till the day they die and who if there is a god will go to the deepest corners of hell!
But it is time that terrorist , thugs or despots were stopped from being allowed to hijack a religion or Philosophy to justify their ends, it is time that a religion is not tarred by the behaviour of a few of its purported followers. I never believed paedophiles priests to be true Catholics, I never believed the KLu klux clan to be Christians, I didn't believe the terrorists in northern Ireland to be true Catholics or true Protestants, I don't believe jihadists to be representing anything other than their own inadequacies and their own self loathing murderous rage.
As long as we go after a whole religion for the evil and murderous behaviour of the minority we are playing into their hands.
As for calls to ban the burqa there is nothing the terrorists and murderers want more than this, it would be manna from heaven for them!
The trouble is attacks like this are also manna from heaven to the idiots on both sides. It is kind of a pity that ISIS land can't be fenced off and any idiot from either side who just wants to kill based on religion , or skin colour or anything else couldn't just be given a corner of the world to kill each other leaving decent society to get on with living, working , bringing up our kids etc
Interestingly though, deaths in the last decade from war and terrorism are as low per capita as in any time in recorded history and less than 1% of half the decades of the last century -yet many seem to live in more fear than ever, why is that?

2 gunmen brothers had criminal records (one had served 18 months in jail for his plans to go to Iraq to kill American soldiers). They had returned to France from Syria last year. When will our Governments learn? Stop letting these people back in our countries! As soon as they leave for Iraq/Syria, cancel their passports. Let them rot over there.
