The outrage felt for the attack in France is nowhere near the outrage for some of the crimes committed in Africa, despite the crimes in Africa being infinitely bloodier, infinitely crueler.

People are angry because they're scared. It's why when a guy in Afghanistan was set on fire and mutilated whilst alive for being a left wing reformer there was a one page thread about it but when something happens in a part of the world that has people like us so to speak, everybody goes off of their head.

I think the vast majority of us look on in disbelief whilst Muslims slaughter fellow Muslims around the world whilst somehow still managing to blame us in the west and thus perpetrating terrorist acts like we saw yesterday in Paris.
