Its Guinness time any day of the week.
Petition says close shops on Boxing Day to spare workers
"A petition urging shops to stay closed on Boxing Day to give staff a break has been backed by more than 100,000."
Sounds good to me
Some people need to get a life if they need to shop on this day of the year.
Power to the workers and about time they fucked the greedy retailers off.

I like a good sale after christmas, but if it's on the 27th then that's fine.

Should just get rid of Christmas all together, it's ridiculous that we let some religious cult put so much financial and emotional pressure on families every year.

To me 25/26 Dec should be holidays for all but essential emergency services, my wife works for monarch and they have 7 flights out in Xmas day, why, either go before or after ffs. Screw up everyone's Xmas you sad twats. And I've worked plenty of Xmas days in my lifetime before anyone asks.

It's a tough one because there are people that want to work to make extra cash but then there's people that don't want to work that are forced to.
It wasn't that long ago that sunday shopping didn't exist over here.

i work at the airport and i agree, who the fuck wants to fly out on xmas day.also i fucking hates skiers and people who take their fucking bikes on holiday with them, not to mention fucking golfers , skiers are the worst though bunch of cunts. and people who have wheelchairs and those fucking electric scooters.infact surely its cheaper to not take clothes and buy some cheap shorts and t shirts on holiday and bin them on the way back so no need for fucking suitcases

sorry :)

People spend months shopping for christmas, borrowing on credit cards and getting in debt, then the day after christmas they all go and do it again in the sales. One day surely can't hurt where the shops are closed.
