Should Dzeko start on Sunday?

shit thread
just like, should silva/nasri start on sunday after tonights performance...

Shit logic, Its not about his performance tonight its about his lack of performance generally.

No he had 3 decent games and then his confidence has evaporated. He was dump tonight gleghorn on BBC manc hit nail on head he never sets himself properly when receiving pal looks off balance most of time

lol

people change their mind every few games

I'm just glad Mario is up and running, I almost lost all hope

on Dzeko, he had a decent performance, but poor finish...

looked kinda out of focus tonight...

I think it's a bit rich laying into Dzeko when so many were poor tonight. No one was dismissing him like this at the start of the season. I take it games like Spurs don't matter now and it's back to the cheap shots and he's crap etc. So fickle! Why can't we show some of the loyalty we expect from the players and just accept tonight wasn't his night as it wasn't for a few of our players. I agree with those who would play Balotelli on Sunday as he is on a good run of form but I think we should also remember that Dzeko was our in form striker a while ago and he will be again so let's not dismiss one of our own.

one more thing

if Aguero didn't score that goal, Dzeko would have, and then everything would have been forgotten...

He's had two or three good games since he's been here. He's been poor apart from that. I really want him to come good but he doesn't look like he will. Mario is head & shoulders above him at the moment so he should start on Sunday before Edin.

No he shouldn't, simply because Aguero and Balo are in better form. Dzeko is a confidence player and tonight showed a distinct lack of it. He will be back in the goals soon enough though.

No way. Forget ego's, play the in-form players. Thats what a squad is for. Milner and Balo are on fire...they have to play.
Yes^^. Balo has to start, Edins Performance was way below tonight, but so to was silvas and aguero's( until the goal) . Oh and nasri needs to step up a level judging by tonites efforts.
Milner will always work like fuck, but has recently added a little quality to his workrate. So start both.

think the problem is that he is obviously a confidence player so plonking him on the bench against wigan when he was on a run of goalscoring has knocked him back abit, should of kept on playing and scoring no doubt.............

if it hadn't been for marcheana (however you spell it) putting through his own net then he would of had the goal and more than likely tucked away some of them later efforts.
