Should Fee-Paying Private(?) Schools be abolished?

7 of the 378 surveyed were autistic. That is 0.0185% of them, hardly a convincing figure. Also, the control group of students who were not as likely to be autistic were all still students at a top university, so they were probably very gifted in their chosen field. Why is maths considered to be better than the other subjects being studied?
Coz maths is applicable in every walk.

I'm no maths genius, but that doesn't sound right to me.

Well spotted, it is actually 1.85% but the point still stands that this is a reatively low figure

I don't know much about IQ and genetics but scientific studies have shown that parents who use physical force on their child damage the development of the child's brain and IQ, so it's at least partly connected to nurture.

The world would be an awful place if everyone was treated as equal.

I disagree completely. Totally. I've got mates who have degrees and they are thick as fuck.

You are arguing semantics of intelligence. Nobody said that the education system has anything to do with intelligence, in fact, it is quite the opposite. Also, whilst they may be 'thick as fuck' in a common sense way, they are probably alright at their chosen subject.

There's a story about Einstein in Vienna, and how he used to forget where he lived whilst walking home from work.

I guess its all about what you class as intelligence, Learning and reciting someone else's work isn't that great a feat surely.......but finding a way around practical and intellectual problems via your own devices is more of a sign maybe.

But still far higher than you would expect to find in a "random" selection.

The point is not how low the figure of 1.85% is but how it compares with the 0.26% (the percentage of autistic people in society).

This is what makes me laugh about the lefty scum and shows them as the real nazis.

Surely if we all lived in the lefty utopia they talk of we'd ALL have the free choice to educate our children how we see fit, whether that means home schooling, state education OR fee paying. Or am I right in believing that the leftists only 'pro choice' as long as it matches their own wayward mindset?
