The only reason he had so much stamina was because he didn't move faster than half-pace in the first half. Giving him Man of the Match when he was on the same pitch as Clichy and Barry was very strange.




EDIT: His first in 9 today, wasn't it? That's hardly 'best player of the season' form, considering he is a striker.

How many mins has he played in those 9 matches? He came on in the 71st min against Ajax for example

Tevez has been head and shoulders our best player this season, outstanding last week against West Brom and again tonight.

He should be starting every game he is fit for. Then it's one from the other 3 for his strike partner.

A definite yes from me re extending his contract

Without a doubt he has been our best player this season along with maybe Hart.

It's criminal that he wasn't played against Dortmund and ajax and look what happened. His will to win today was supeb and he won us 3 points with a great goal. At one point he was covering right back for Richards. Easily man of the match.

I understand the reasoning for wanting him to stay, but surely you have to understand why some of us want him gone. Stupid to say that anyone who doesn't want to see his contract extended is "mental."

Its hard to question whether he has 'gotten over' last seasons tantrum when you see him put in a performance like that - simply the best City player on the pitch by a country mile.

If he is (finally) happy and wants to stay, give him an extension because he is fucking quality.

9 games, you've actually included a game he took no part in (Dortmund).

I'm only repeating what I read on SS. 8 games then, still awful form compared to what we expect. That comment was aimed just at you though mate, was more general.
