Carlos Tevez has revealed he is considering a contract offer from Manchester City, but has claimed he would like to move back to former club Boca Juniors.
The striker's contract at the Etihad Stadium expires at the end of next season, however, Goal.com revealed last month that the striker is considering letting his contract run down before returning to Boca next summer, and he has now admitted that a move back to his homeland would appeal.
"I've one year left on my deal and City want me to sign for two more seasons. I'll think about it," Tevez was quoted by The Sun.
"This year is different from last, when I wanted to end the contract with City. I'm happy here as they're treating me well.
"Sometimes I play, sometimes I don't, but that's okay."
"The will to return to Boca always exists, even more so with [Carlos] Bianchi as a manager," he told ESPN show 'Sportscenter'.
"I would like to wear the shirt of the team I love again."
Tevez also admitted that he does not feel worthy of a place in the Argentina national team anymore, as several better players are available in his position.
"Nowadays the Argentine national team have better strikers than me," he said. "A person must have the greatness to say the national team doesn't need him anymore.
"There are players nowadays that are a level above."

Some great stuff from Tevez. Especially the comments on his national side.

Not as good as he was 2 years ago.City can afford to let him go nowTCIB said:Good to hear that of Carlos, indicates to me anyway he is calm and settled now.
Yes he was a sod but a settled Tevez is a good player however you cut it.
BOSNIANCITY said:Tevez should stay before Balotelli, but if Mancini doesn't want Balotelli gone then Tevez should be next in line. I have a feeling he might pull another "I don't want to play" and go golfing again. Lets not forget he could of cost City the title last season, and without him City were just fine in the EPL. The 3-2 at QPR happened when he was subbed off anyway.
