Definitely something from the smiths or oasis.Remember Wonderwall in the nineties? Was far better than bluemoon.
Some folk act like we've been singing bluemoon for 50 years. It only became attached to us under Kendall.
Would much rather see something from Oasis picked up in the stands. Something more defiant and less whimpery than bluemoon tbh.
As mentioned before Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now would be a good fit, maybe The Masterplan by oasis would be good as well

There's little reason to change Bluemoon when the whole stadium belts it out it's awesome. The problem is more the number singing which makes it sound iffy sometimes.
Other teams fans sing 'We've only got one song' just like WWYWYWS it bothers them as its something in our history we have that they'd like.
Balls to the club 'moon' cheese like 99% of the cheese it's not aimed at me, but if the song changed make no mistake the cheese would follow tenfold.

Bluemoon is a depressing dirge with half the people giving half arsed attempts at being understood. Mostly it becomes ineligible with half cut, half souped up morons throwing their inane drivel at it, turning it into a cocophony of white noise.
The song in the stadium is pretty decent though and should be kept. Arf!! :)

So, just summing up the forum at the moment:
Joe Hart has been fantastic in Europe but his distribution is shit, so get rid.
Caballero isn't up to it. So get rid.
Zaba has been fantastic, but he's now past it, so get rid.
VK is fantastic but he is so injury prone he is now a liability, so get rid.
Sagna, Kolarov, Otamendi, Mangala and Demichelis are all too old or not up to Pep's standard or both, so get rid.
Fernandinho is not up to playing CDM in a Pep team. He may do a job at centre back, otherwise get rid.
Fernando Delph and Navas are not up to Pep's standard, so get rid.
Yaya is a legend but can't be arsed any more and is too old, plus Pep doesn't like him. So get rid.
Silva is a legend but is now too old and injury prone and won't do what Pep wants, so get rid.
Sterling was a waste of money, and hasn't lived up to his potential, nor will he in a Pep squad. So get rid.
Bony is just useless. So get rid.
Sergio is a legend, but is too injury prone and has lost his explosive pace which apparently was his only attribute. So get rid.
Finally, Blue Moon is cheese so get rid.
Kevin De Bruyne and nacho look like they will be playing on their own in a very quiet stadium next year...

Thank God these clowns in our support have zero decision making authority. On this basis Pellegrini has worked miracles.
That's not to say that the squad can't be improved by the way of course it can, but we have the basis of a title winning squad.

Bluemoon is a good anthem - it is defiant in it's message and for those of us who were there when it started "standing alone without a dream in my heart" was exactly how we felt in those dark days.
What I will say, is that it fizzles out too quickly because there is really only one verse. If we could come up with another verse then it would be much better.
