Should we prioritise Champions League now?

Our issues are more than just injuries, unless the collective effort gets much better it doesnt really matter if we get some players back or not.

It does seem we have a systemic issue this season with conceding. We are so open when teams decide to attack.

I wish I was as optimistic.

Sane was very hit & miss may not be back in time if he is he won’t be match fit.

Sorry we are not going to win the champs league. We are not good enough.

please just look at our squad & who we have struggled against already this season.

I would love to be wrong but the evidence is plain to see for me.

One hope is that the CL is done till feb so hopefully we can get some form and some relief from injuries. When we are firing we are a match for anyone. We have 3 months to get firing.

We are not going to win the league this year so we might as well prioritise the Champions League. The problem is we are never going to win it with that defence.

Our best chance for silverware this year is the domestic cups.

We badly need investment in some new players. The squad is starting to show its age and weaknesses in too many areas. Centre back and left back remain problem areas despite the millions we have spent there.

How do you prioritise a competition in which you don't play another meaningful game in for 2 1/2 months ? What we supposed to do down tools and take our chances in a knock out competition overseen by VAR.
If we are 11 points behind in April and facing a back to back 2 leg QF it becomes a valid question.

Exactly you cannot prioritise as we have about 12/13 matches before we have a Champs league in the next round. Some strange thinking around here.

Even then the last 16 ties are spread over 4/5 weeks the same timescale given for the QF/SF ties. By April we'll pretty much know where we are domestically and only then does the question become relevant.......if we get there!
