Should you always support your 'home' team?

Anyone that doesn't support the "born in" town are cunts.

Come on Lancaster City!

Agreed, up the Dolly's !!

Man City are playing shitty Morecambe soon, I'll be in attendance, hate them bastards.

My old man is from fallowfield and his old man is also a manc. They both grew up watching city, as my old man moved away I was born in York but i was going to Maine road from the age of 5 (around 91-92). Totally fell in love with everything about the club and grew up a passionate blue, even though we were shit!! Spent years of my life and too much money watching city and wouldn't change it for the world....
.... Since we have become a 'good team' I constantly have to explain to knob heads why I'm a blue, even fucking plastic rags and 'scousers' who don't know where there ground is ask me if I'm a blue because of the money!!
... Got bored of explaining myself so my new response is FUCK OFF just FUCK OFF!!

Born in Gorton. Christened at St Marks. Think that just about covers me.

i believe that more respect is due to fans, who for one reason or another, have been brought up a blue or caught the blue bug and stuck with us, when they are not from the local area.

i was born in Mcr and went to many games, but it was easy, just hop on the bus or get a lift off a mate and you were there. to spend literally 1000's to do that is commendable, no-one should belittle your support because of your place of birth, they shouldnt belittle any other fan at all come to think of it!!

i moved to cyprus 4 years ago and have only managed to see 14 city games in that time, but my love of the blues grows every day.

the good thing is that because of transport improvements more out of towners can get to the games these days.

No home team for me I'm afraid, nearest football league side is Carlisle 38 miles away.Supported City in a town full of armchair rags since 77.

Family are all mancs - but from rag-heartlands of the sarf, started supporting City when I was 11 in 1999 not long before that fateful day, I was only ever in it for the glory!
