I’m not one to pick up on words.

I appreciate the MUEN is running with the story.

But the word PLEA in the headline is misleading.


‘a request made in an urgent and emotional request’

The request by Pep is neither urgent or emotional. All he is doing is asking the fans to get behind the team on Sunday, before, during, and hopefully after the match.

Pep and Klopp both talked about the atmosphere on Sunday. We aren't going to turn up and sit there in silence. But they have nade Pep's words a plea and probably got some spin on Klopp rallying the troops.

Much like the myth of Anfield on European nights and ours being empty, they'll spin it with City.

They'll have their minds blown I am sure when they hear the noise. It's going to be a special day, one that's talked about in the way Hamburg was but with the result to match this time.

It was amazing. Everyone got in late as well because of the no booze rule and it being packed. I was in 212 and it was just rocking everywhere. Caicedo somehow managed to score but then miss a sitter late on iirc. Dunney got sent off and we got lucky with a few chances of theirs. Atmosphere dragged us up a level that night.

It was Given in net though mate. Think Hart made his debut that season against Shef Utd in a 0-0 but might have been the year after?!
