It feels like unless you are prepared to turn up 2 hrs before kick off waving a flare like a dipper you are somehow not contributing to the atmosphere or a proper fan.

Wonder how many flare wavers will be pissed/coked up come kickoff having wasted all of their energy watching a coach speed past or Instagraming concourse chanting.

The atmosphere will be just fine on Sunday. It'll be a little nervous if we fall behind, but it will be fine.

Maybe I'm of a certain age, but when I see flags and flares behind a goal.......I see Dipperpool.

It has nothing to do with Liverpool, our manager has asked for our best support so we have to step up by any means necessary. This is our cup final, it deserves more than a 'fine' atmosphere. We have to push our lads as much as we can.

Thats the problem with most English fans when the team is loosing or not playing well they mostly go flat but that's when the players need us the most

What's the benefit in being defeatist? We're all well aware of the some of the self inflicted issues the club's had with atmosphere. But the greatest manager of our club's history asked us to show up and make noise so that's what we're obliged to do.

It's not being defeatist, you get some joy from how you want to do it but leave everyone else to do it their way.

I too am of a “certain age” but to me, it’s about fine margins on Sunday and anything, absolutely anything we can all do to make the difference is fine by me.
