They have ALL had £50m per season extra from being in the elite that they organised for themselves (another exception being Chelsea who (like City) weren't able to be there to create their own cartel).

Like the rest of us they have had to gamble on cheap foreign imports,over the hill internationals or untried lower league players.

Not to mention the apparent idea that baconchops or anyone else for that matter has built a team in a respectful way. Just because City's team building is over a very short period I don't see how it is somehow morally worse than those who didn't have the means to do it that quickly.

Fergie has spent years buying other team's best established players - Cantona, Tevez, Rooney, Berbatov, Cole, Bruce, Pallister, Keane, Webb, Ferdinand to name a few.
