Could be incorrect but isn't this the exact same thing that happened with Boateng?
 
The Berbatov signing over again when Baconface hijacked him at Manchester although Spurs had only accepted our bid. It seems the German rags have learnt from that and basically said fuck of we are having him.
 
I hope Bilboa have more balls than Spurs and refuse to complete the signing. Then they should go to Uefa. I f*ckin hate Bayern.

I don't mind if he doesn't come here, but I would be pissed off if Bayern force Bilboa to sell at their terms. It's bullying. Same as United.

There's a buyout clause guys. What do we learn from that?
If you don't want the player to turn his back on you halfway through just make the clause ridiculously high. Bilbao's own fault for agreeing to a 40 mil buyout clause.

Look what happened. Some Club who's willing to pay the money came along and the player is willing to leave. Nothing wrong with that. Would have been the same if we had an agreement with Martinez instead of feckin Bayern. Still a little pissed that he chose them over us but I guess they offered him a spot in the starting 11 along Schweinsteiger.
