Don't think DDR will come to City: he's too Roman. Even if he does, I'd buy Martinez now for his potential. Liked him for a few years and there's people that think he and Pique will be Spain's centre back paring before too long.

For Christ's sake, if you are signing Javi Martinez you are clearly not buying a player for four games. You are buying a player who will be one of the worlds best CM for years to come.

And those that think 33 is too much for him....he will realistically go for a little less and whoever gets him will be happy to get him at that price. Just like Hazard. The price is only going to go up....

Really playing well against Madrid right now and handling Benzema well - again as a centre-back, so if we buy him what do we buy him as, a defender or midfielder? He can play both but eventually like Kompany will have to settle on one position. Bilbao seem to fancy him more as a defender now.
