Even the best teams strengthen near enough each summer. Barcelona have signed Alba and are closing in on Song. Real Madrid have signed Modric and are trying to find a right-back, possibly Maicon. Both have better squads than us.

Bayern Munich have signed Mandzukic, Shaqiri, Dante, and Martinez for a total cost of around £55million.

Mancini: "Barcelona and Real Madrid every year buy two or three players and spend a lot of money. I think for Manchester City it will be the same."

Im so suprised we havent got 2 class players in by now. The fact we have some players who wont move on due to £££££ is a crazy reason we havent bought new players. This is the reason i expect we havent. We shud just cut our loss and sell Ballo next year for £40 million to compensate. We are so close to domination but we are letting the others back in the frame.

Our squad will compete with Utd and Chelsea but we are way off the mark for Champs League. No real cover for Yaya come the africa cup and silva/Kompany having a dip in form or injury,(which they will) then our season could go up in smoke like it nearly did last season. We must get 2 class acts in by Friday.

I just hope the boss has something planned!!!

Glad RVP not come to us. Midfield and defence is a priority. Good signing for Utd, they get a decent play maker now and that could really balls things up for us.

Our midfield is so far superior

Our defence is stronger

And our keeper is streets ahead

Thus we should win the league :-)
