I'm officially giving up on signing De Rossi unless he walks out of the Etihad with a City shirt on. Nani would be hilarious, but the Rags would never sell him to us for less than 35m+, it just wouldn't be worth the loss of face otherwise.

And that is also the task that will really test the ambition of any incoming striker. If you were van persil, Cavani etc it would surely take a confident fella to be thinking they would break them 2 up easily to get regular game time, and that is without even taking Mario into consideration, who is a favourite with Bobby and carries great expectation after a very good Euro campaign.

Looking at this new formation I would heavily invest in a world class left wing back. Both coentrao and Marcelo won't start for Madrid? They are both WORLD class! Also would love a winger who will hug the touchline, would love Munian but seriously doubt he'd leave Spain.
