There are some places in Norfolk that really are stupid. I visited a factory in "Eye" which was right in the sticks. The woman who took me round looked like a total inbred.

I have a customer who's out on the Norfolk coast. He rang me to ask where I was and on a signpost was "Happisburgh 2 miles" so I told him and pronounced it "Happys burg". He said "Happys burg where the fuck is Happys burg" and then said "Oh, you mean Hairs boro"

Hunstanton in Norfolk is pronounced "Hunstan"

I stayed there last year...the kettle village place.Amishland.They also had village names like Blueball,Bareville and Stumptown.
