@City_Watch: Silva has suffered ligament damage according to the Mirror and there are fears that he could be out for up to 3 weeks.

Do you really believe The Mirror? I would wait for confirmation from the club before anything that red top rag of an excuse for a paper came out with.

If it was just a slight knock and nothing serious then I think he would know himself today and it would have been announced he's ok. The fact that nothing so far has been said and we're still waiting for a scan then it seems obvious to me that he's already been ruled out for Sunday. All for a fucking league cup tie at home to Newcastle. Shocking that the likes of Pozo didn't even get on the pitch yesterday at any point and yet we're starting with one of the two most important players at the club.

I think this is premature.

3 weeks is the most likely scenario / best scenario if its minor medial ligament damage

And that's what was suspected. But unti the results are known, I think the Mirror is just making an educated guess
